The Goo Goo Dolls are charging across North America introducing their fans to their latest album “Something for the Rest of Us”. The current tour is geared to intimate venues with a shed tour in the works for the summer of 2010.
Matt Miley, the longtime GGD Production Manager, now handles the Tour Manager/Tour Accountant duties. Jimmy Pettinato covers all Production Manager responsibilities.
GGD veteran Paul David Hager is not only the touring FOH mixer, but is the mixing engineer for the “Something for the Rest of Us” album. A Digidesign Profile anchors Paul’s rig supplemented by outboard gear including BSS DPR-901, Empirical Labs EL-8 and Bricasti M7 reverbs. Paul is using Clair i-3 and BT-218 subs to augment locally provided sound systems.
Robert Windel has returned as the Monitor mixer. He employs a Digidesign Profile with the Crane Song Phoenix, McDSP MC2000, and TL Space plugins in his mix. GGD are a Sennheiser endorsed artist. They use SR 300 G3 transmitters with EK 300 G3 for the band and technicians and Sennheiser RF receivers/beltpacks for guitars/basses.
