Keith Urban Pass With sixteen number one singles, five multi platinum albums, a pair of GRAMMY® Awards and a truckload of CMAs, Keith Urban is presently one of the biggest country acts both in the USA and his home country of Australia.

Urban just wrapped his 2009 Escape Together World Tour, with high-energy performances, signature guitar chops, and multiple opening acts—including Sugarland, Taylor Swift, Glen Campbell, Lady Antebellum and the Zac Brown Band—in support of his latest album “Defying Gravity.”

The sheer variety of venues over the course of the global tour called for a versatile, yet powerful PA that could easily and seamlessly fill any space. Production turned to Clair and the flagship i-Series, with its compact size, wide dispersion and crystal clear sound.

Escape Together’s house PA includes 32 Clair i-5 mains, i-3 front fills and sidehangs, and BT 218 subs, driven by Lab Gruppen PLM 10000Q and PLM 14000Q amplifiers. FOH mixer Steve Law drives the show with a Studer Vista 5 SR digital mixing console, chosen for its sound quality, flexibility, ease-of-use and reliability. Joe Keiser holds down monitor world with a Midas Heritage H3000 and Midas XL3 24 channel expander.
