Nickelback Pass Nickelback is on the road to support their latest Mutt Lange co-produced album “Dark Horse”. To re-create the powerful sound of the new album, Clair Nashville has provided the latest in cutting edge technology for the tour: Clair i-5 & i-5b line arrays with AlignArray rigging and Coherent Transfer Midrange (CTM) technology for the front hang, and Clair i-3 line arrays for side coverage. Both arrays are powered and controlled by Lab Gruppen PLM series amplifiers. On the ground, a steered array of Clair BT-218 sub-woofers are powered by Powersoft K10 amplifiers. Front of House engineer Orris Henry III is mixing on a Digidesign Profile console while onstage monitor engineer Mike Mule has opted for the new DiGiCo SD-7. Both opening acts, Seether and Saving Abel, are also mixing on these consoles, keeping changeovers and truck space to a minimum.
