Clair Global is seeking a Driver/Tour Prep to join the team! The Driver/Tour Prep is responsible for safely transporting gear or personnel to the proper venues at any time of the day. Other responsibilities include testing and preparation of motors, checking-in gear, and building work trunks for tour.

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the essential functions of this job while exercising independent judgment and discretion.

• Current driver’s license and driving record that meets Clair driving policy standards
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to safely lift 50+ lbs.
• Ability to follow written/oral geographical directions
• Ability to account for daily driving expenses
• Ability to obtain a forklift license
• Basic understanding of rigging concepts and motors

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

1. Responsible for pick-up and delivery to local vendors
2. Take vehicles to be serviced
3. Keep vehicles clean and orderly
4. Pulling from inventory for work trunks
5. Assist with the check-in process of work trunks upon return from tour
6. Assist with loading and unloading of trucks
7. Assist with cycle count of gear
8. Upkeep of motors and rigging.
9. Assist other departments as needed

Logistics, Shipping & Receiving

Los Angeles, CA

Eighth Day Sound is seeking a Logistics, Shipping & Receiving to join the team! This position is as a handler for logistics as well as handling shipping and receiving for the Location. It is your responsibility to communicate with Office Management as to projects are in need of trucking – deliveries and pick up and to schedule them with either EDS truck or sub-hired trucking service. You will need to keep an updated schedule of deliveries and pick up with details so others can see arrangements.

LOGISTICS

• Gather information from others about required equipment deliveries, pick-ups and shipping
• Schedule deliveries and pick-ups (either EDS or sub-hired)
• Maintain calendar and/or register of all trips
• Occasionally drive some local pick-ups and deliveries
• Advise clients/EDS representative of scheduled plan (or share view of plan)
• Arrange FedEx, UPS, or common carrier equipment deliveries
• Obtain quotes for shipping via common carrier or local delivery

SHIPPING AND RECEIVING

• Pack and prepare items for shipment
• Prepare shipping labels
o Online FedEx, UPS or Other Address Label
o Prepare International Labels as Required
o Custom & Duty Forms as Required
o Call for pick up and deliveries
• Receive incoming packages
o Verify contents of package
o Count quantity/review item to match description
o Mark item as received in inventory system
• Scan items into shop/out to job in inventory system
• Create barcodes for new items received into inventory

BARCODING

• Interface with inventory control to determine barcode procedure
o Placement of barcodes varies by item type
o Quantity of barcodes varies by item type
o How to create barcodes

OTHER

• Track truck maintenance
o Schedule regular maintenance and repair for vehicle
o Arrange truck wash and cleaning

This job is Monday-Friday, 9AM to 5PM however, it is expected that phone calls will be taken outside work hours for changes in truck schedule and emergency delivery or pick-ups.

Console Technician

Lititz, PA

Clair Global is seeking a Console Technician to join the team! The primary responsibilities include ensuring the completion of all daily goals within the Console Department. This involves testing, maintaining, trouble-shooting and deploying analog/digital console systems.

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the essential functions of this job under direct supervision of the Technical Service Manager.

• Ability to prioritize and complete tasks under strict deadlines
• Ability to understand and present information/ideas in writing, in person, or over the phone
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Basic understanding of analog/digital consoles and signal flow
• Basic computer/networking skills
• Basic soldering skills
• Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
• Must excel in a fast-paced, demanding, and continuously changing environment

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Test/maintain console systems and associated hardware/software
• Continual use of our ERP Software to proficiently track, manage, document and prep company owned assets

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Assist road staff with equipment preparation
• Continual use of our ERP Software in order to proficiently track, manage, document and prep company owned assets
• Document gear returning from tour when required
• Test/maintain console systems and associated hardware/software
• Trouble-shoot full console systems in person and over the phone
• Prepare outgoing console systems
