• Familiarity with audio electronics and consoles and how they operate
• Experience using hand tools and power tools and general assembly techniques
• Touring experience with audio systems (not necessary but add value)
• Ability to perform basic repairs to transmitters, receivers, microphones, cables, headsets, and antennas (cosmetic/missing parts) to return equipment to the shop in "like new" condition
• Previous experience (professional or amateur) with audio
• Basic understanding of analog/digital consoles and signal flow

Safety Specialist

Lititz, PA

Clair Global is seeking a Safety Specialist to join the team! The Safety Specialist implements, manages, and monitors safety programs, policies and procedures that meet OSHA and other applicable requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Ensures that the organization complies will all current safety regulations and that all employees are aware of safety requirements and are prepared to follow safety procedures.
• Ensures that all Clair facilities meet the requirements of the annual risk assessment for insurance

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the essential functions of this job while exercising independent judgment and discretion.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to relate to various groups of internal and external customers
• High level attention to detail and accuracy
• The ability to inspect equipment and buildings to assess safety risks
• The ability to develop new or enhanced safety procedures to reduce or eliminate safety risks

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Work with insurance company auditors to meet as many risk assessment requirements as possible in all company locations
• Conduct safety inspections and make recommendations for improvements
• Order PPE supplies
• Conduct shop safety trainings: new employee safety, forklift, aerial lift, fall arrest, work at heights, OSHA 30 – construction, OSHA 10
• Administer company DOT program
• Point of contact for injury reporting by shop and road staff
• Conduct accident investigations and work with Human Resources on documenting workers compensation claims

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree in occupational health/safety or another related field
• 2-4 years of professional safety experience in a warehouse and/or manufacturing environment
• Thorough understanding of governmental safety regulations and industry safety standards
• Knowledge of first aid procedures and tools
• Must pass a background check and drug screen
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Network Technician

Lititz, PA

Clair Global is seeking a Network Technician to join the team! The Network Technician is responsible for deploying, operating, and supporting IT networks for large events in the entertainment industry. The focus of the Network Technician will be on working with a team on event sites to deploy temporary robust IT network infrastructure. This position requires 80% travel.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

1. Deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, infrastructure temporary and permanent entertainment spaces.
2. Deploy network infrastructure, such as fiber optic cable, intermediate distribution frames, edge switching and copper cabling necessary for all site data applications.
3. Deploying access points according to initial design and make decisions on exact placement for adequate coverage and cabling efficiency.
4. Deploy equipment in a manner to protect from site build, crowds, and environmental factors.
5. Monitor, troubleshoot and maintain event networks during online service periods.
6. Prep, configure and pack equipment in warehouse before gear is shipped to sites.
7. Assist engineers in design, logistics and project management.

EXPERIENCE:

• CCNA or more advance Cisco certifications or CompTIA Network+ certifications are a plus
• Experience working events or challenging production environments
• Understanding and experience with deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points, PtP wireless, SD-WAN, and VoIP technologies and equipment.
• LAN technologies (GigabitEthernet, PoE, link aggregation, CDP, LLDP, ARP, VLAN’s & trunking)
• Experience with 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax wireless network standards, wireless security mechanisms, wireless design principles, RF technology, and wireless network control systems
• Experience in Cat5/6 termination

Wireless Network Engineer

Lititz, PA

Clair Global is seeking a Wireless Network Engineer to join the team! The Wireless Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, documenting, and supporting Clair Global’s temporary event, touring, integration and enterprise clients. The focus of the Wireless Network Engineer will be working on a team to design and build reliable wireless network infrastructures in challenging environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

1. Candidate will be responsible for the design, configuration, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and analysis of Wireless infrastructure as well as Wide Area Networks (WAN) and Local Area Networks (LAN) to deliver voice, video and data applications in temporary and permanent entertainment spaces.
2. Audit Clair’s existing wireless security infrastructure and policies and implement improvements.
3. Candidate will work alongside network architect and deployment engineers to implement and refine deployment practices
4. Standardize and document Clair branch office wireless deployments and technology.
5. Support Clair, Rock Lititz, Clair Data Services, and Clair MSP clients and engineers in network design and related issues.
6. Assist in Clair’s initiative to continuously refine and rework existing infrastructure to ensure the highest level of network and resource up-time.
7. Be on-site for CDS events that require additional support (Coachella, Bottle Rock, etc.) at supervisor’s discretion.
8. Work with the audio engineering and electronics departments to help evolve Clair touring networks to include technologies such as VLANs, IGMP Snooping, improved Wi-Fi control networks, etc.

EXPERIENCE:

• Certified in CCNA, CCNP Enterprise, CCIE Enterprise Wireless, CWNE (one or more certifications would be ideal)
• Ideal candidate will have Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• Demonstrated experience with Cisco technologies
• Understanding and experience with deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points, PtP wireless, SD-WAN, and VoIP technologies and equipment.
• Experience with managing and documenting wireless networks, producing heat maps and AP placement documents
• Hands on experience implementing, upgrading/administering wireless controllers
• Cisco based routing and switching platforms in an Enterprise environment. Applicant should also be well versed in the theory of operation, deployment, and monitoring of network protocols such as VoIP, SNMP, NetFlow, HSRP, STP, QoS/CoS, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, NAT/PAT, NTP, RADIUS, DNS, DHCP.
• The use of wireless network planning and survey tools, such as AirMagnet, Ekahau, SiteSurvey, etc.
• The use of Wireshark (or any packet analyzer) to diagnose network performance problems with an emphasis on Wireless packet analysis and client experience tests.
• LAN technologies (GigabitEthernet, PoE, link aggregation, CDP, LLDP, ARP, VLAN’s & trunking)
• Experience in creating network staff training materials, network diagrams, and general documentation
• Experience with 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax wireless network standards, wireless security mechanisms, wireless design principles, RF technology, and wireless network control systems, with a primary focus on Cisco.

Electronics Repair Technician

Lititz, PA

Clair Global is seeking an Electronics Repair Technician to join the team! The Electronics Repair Technicians' primary responsibilities include audio testing, troubleshooting, component level replacement and cleaning electronics equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the essential functions of this job while exercising independent judgment and discretion.

• Knowledge of Ohms Law
• Knowledge of the Resistance Color Code
• Basic knowledge of Electronic Schematics
• Associates Degree/Certificate of Electronics Technology Preferred
• Familiarity with soldering, use of standard tools, and generally assembly techniques
• Knowledge of multimeters, oscilloscopes and signal generators preferred
• Basic knowledge of computers and ability to enter repaired equipment into inventory tracking software
• Basic knowledge of signal flow in audio circuits preferred but not required
