CGI’s European team led on technical design, installation, and delivery of the audio systems, networking, and infrastructure for three exciting new venues situated within Outernet, the UK’s highly anticipated new live music, arts, and entertainment district. The state-of-the-art venues – HERE, The Lower Third, and The Forge – offer performers the opportunity to hone their skills in front of a live audience while growing their fan base and moving throughout the various-sized spaces on site.
A key part of the brief was finding the perfect sound system for the largest venue, HERE, a 2,000-capacity concert touring destination that has been cleverly, yet challengingly, constructed underground. A huge amount of detailed planning and design has resulted in ultimate technical flexibility being delivered across all three of these venues.
Each room has been custom-designed to host a multitude of live entertainment shows ranging from live music to comedy, fashion, and much more. Located within a four-story development in the heart of London, the vision behind Outernet depicts a real commitment to nurturing new talent and supporting emerging artists during every step of their careers while, at the same time, offering intimate booking options for globally-recognized names.
