Clair Global Integration (CGI) understood that Ole Red Nashville is a lively entertainment destination with lots of moving parts. We determined early on that the venue’s AV systems should allow any audio or video source to be routed to any output destination. Our team's logistical expertise was put to the test and required thoughtful navigation and professional instinct to get every nuance just right.
Utilizing the most logical combination of cutting-edge technologies CGI tackled the routing challenge by installing a new DSP system, designed to handle audio routing logic, while a video switcher was put in to handle all video routing logic. Numerous inputs were installed to allow for an array of streaming and local media to feed into the venue, including a special integration that allows Blake Shelton to “call” into the bar and interact with the audience from anywhere. We implemented a custom control panel system to allow the Ole Red staff to select a destination and then assign any input to that destination, with intelligent links between audio and video. Along with a vibrant 16’ x 16’ LED screen behind the 20’ x 15’ stage, a stereo set of deeply musical line arrays, with 12 full-range elements and subwoofers, were installed to cover most of the surrounding floor and balcony. For stage lighting we used a combination of options controlled from system processors and interfaces to deliver well-balanced coverage. All in all, our efforts help bring a concert-level performance experience to every patron at Ole Red.

"We have a long history with Clair and have completed a lot of successful projects with its team. Having a unique legacy in the Grand Ole Opry and the Ryman Auditorium, everything we do has to meet or exceed the high bar we’ve set at those venues."
